Mini PC Launch
The B9 Plus is a new mini PC from Bmax and has now become available for preorder. More specifically, it's currently priced at âŹ349 on Geekbuying and directly ships from Europe without customs or other additional fees. However, prospective buyers should be aware that warranty claims might be difficult to enforce. Shipping to the US is not offered at this time.
That being said, this mini PC measures around 5 x 4.4 x 2 inches and should easily fit into any setup. The manufacturer advertises an adequate cooling system that consists of a fan with two heat pipes and should keep temperatures of the Intel Core i5-1250P processor from 2022 in check. While this isn't necessarily a high-end processor, it should be fast enough for all typical applications including Microsoft Office and photo editing. Moreover, the 24GB LPDDR5 RAM is clocked at 4,400MHz, while the built-in NVMe PCIe SSD comes with 512GB of storage capacity.
In terms of connectivity, the Bmax B9 Plus offers Gigabit Ethernet as well as WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, which can be used to connect headsets or other wireless peripherals. Meanwhile, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and USB Type-C can be used to hook up monitors, while two USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports are available for accessories or external storage devices. Last but not least, Bmax opted for a conventional barrel plug connector to power its latest mini PC.

My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.
