John and his crew with an amazing day - see the report!
Hello all!!
See the attached photos of todays exceptional spring
trophy trolling trip!
I should put in the subject for this e-mail - "Trophy
season ups and downs".
As I have told you all, trophy season is very
unpredictable, up and down, hit or miss, etc.
There are still not many nicer places to spend a day
no matter what happens!
As you can see from the Saturday and Monday reports I
wont lie about the catch!
On Saturday we trolled up five and kept two.
On Monday we trolled up two and were able to keep them
both - even in nasty rough seas.
TODAY WAS AWESOME!!! We left the dock at 1:30 PM for
an afternoon trip. Started trolling about 2:00PM. By
4:45 we caught 12 fish up to 41 1/2 inches. We were
able to keep five of these fish as keepers under and
over the slot of throwbacks. The sizes of fish we
caught in order were: 33", 24", 19", 37", 34 3/4",
41 1/2", 34 1/4", 38 1/2", 37", 31", 38 1/2", 31".
Time is running out for trying for these trophies -
hurry why they are still here - no promises - just
that we will give it our best shot!
I am allready booking trophy trips for 2008!!!
